Have you ever accidentally put the wrong fuel in your vehicle's engine, only to realise later and have to have the whole engine cleaned out so that it would function?
This happened to me.
It was so embarrassing and nearly catastrophic to the running of our VW Camper van - our pride and joy.
Our brains are the engines of our bodies, of our life, yet we don't think of our brains like this, and so often we frequently put the wrong fuel in our brains and then wonder we we are performing the way we are. For example, why we are struggling with doing things, why we are behaving the way we are, how we are managing our emotions, and whether we are showing up as our best selves.
Having suffered from chronic stress and depression in the corporate environment, I spent the next year and a half seeking to understand why I felt the way I did, why I was struggling with memory loss and learning, and went about fixing my brain health. Discovering the work by Dr Daniel Amen and the Amen clinics as part of my journey, I am now absolutely committed to helping others learn how they can boost their brain health, reduce stress, increase their level of happiness and improve their performance in all that they do.
